in Credit cards
Good Afternoon, I currently have both a Barclaycard and Natwest Credit Card:
Natwest £0 balance, £6,750 credit limit
Barclaycard £3500 balance (£1730 of which is interest free until next year, I'm paying interest on the other half of the balance), £13,000 credit limit
I have an offer to balance transfer to my natwest card for no fee but a 7.9% rate for the life of the balance. My query is that I want to transfer the non-interest free amount from my barclaycard to my natwest (fee free) then once it has appeared on my Natwest card, transfer it back to my Barclaycard which is offering interest free balance transfer till next year, therefore my whole balance on my barclaycard will be interest free.
My concern is that when I balance transfer, the interest free amount on my barclaycard will be transferred and not the amount I pay interest on. Can I avoid this?
I hope I've explained this correctly. Thanks for any help.

The highest interest balance will always be paid first, so you're fine.0
