Have you called Hotpoint directly or contacted them
I say this as I had a dishwasher out of guarantee but under 2 years old. I sent the manufacturer a polite note stating my disappointment and they sent an engineer out almost immediately and fixed it FOC.0 -
Some home insurance policies include coverage for loss of food due to freeze failure, though there is usually an excess payable. It might be worth checking to see if you have this cover.0
