Good luck for the interview Rog!

I made £25 today on eBay... and then spent £12.95 today on a DVD for my OH (in HMV, but checked Amazon, HMV.com and Play and saved 4p buying it in person!). Need a little shopping on way home too, but have technically got £15 spare to do it with.
  • thanks to all of you who have started this thread the last few days ~ not been myself ~ again, so sc0877dq.gif

thanks rog today, yes last of 6 days and a 8am start  boss is on holiday too  so not happy about that really...

anyways today i returned the item i brought yesterday so up £10 and i spent 60p on drinks for me and 15p for a drink for a work collegue. She then gave me £3.50 for the item i ordered for her so not a bad day :T
  • I'm aiming for a no spend day!
I have no food in the fridge or freezer. I have only tinned/dried food, yum yum! I'm finding it really hard to cut back on spending money but im doing ok i guess. I spent £2 yesterday.

Hopefully the petrol in my car will get me to work and back. I mite even earn some money tonight (i do home parties).

I've found £7.50 in coppers in my bedroom, does anyone know if i can change them into pound coins and that at the post office or do i have to go to a bank?

Tomorrow i'm going on a trip with my friend im gonna make a packed lunch, what out of i dont know but im gonna try :D I'll try for a no spend day tomorrow as well.

I wrote a list of things to do when I have no money, it was quite inventive really!

  • I'd like to know that too - I am saving all my 20p and under coins but where can I get them changed up when I have a large amount? I saw a woman in the post office months ago with piles of coppers in return for notes and she was refused. So where will I go?

I was refused at the post office, but my bank are always happy to do it so long as it's not lunchtime (they have a sign to that effect)

If you're not near a bank I find market traders are always glad for change, expecially the Fruit & Veg guys x

So far I blew £2.30 on a crappy baked potato at work and was reminded again why bringing my own lunch is not only cheaper but way tastier!! Apart from that I've not spent anything nor will I today hopefully!

    Good luck with the interview!
