What will you/have you spend today - Monday 10th September 2007?

Morning all - In the absence of PaP, who probably had an early start this morning, and Moozie, who we all miss, I have decided to start the ball rolling today.

Personally, I'm aiming for a No Spend Day, today as I'm preparing for tomorrow's job interview.

So - Post your daily spends, in true DFW fashion and in the words of our esteemed leader, in absentia, Moozie:
"Keep it Low"
Don't forget - ANYONE can post - you don't need to be in the weekly challenge, although it's a good challenge to be in.
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

  • Should be a no spend day - however paid my last bit of debt off today so might allow myself £10 to go to the pub with and have a few!!!

  • Good luck for your interview!

I was aiming for a NSD but the shopping (budgeted) has just been delivered and there's no bread  so that's probably around £1 in the local shop. How can they have no bread, honestly.

Won't be tempted to spend more than that though, I've got a huuuuuge pile of ironing to do (baby clothes - figured they may as well get ironed now as I doubt it'll happen once the baby is here!)
  • Good luck with the interview! I hope you get the job!

Spent £2 on school bus fare (grrrr), and £2.42 on toiletries + reduced stationery in Morrisons.

Not planning to spend anything else. (I'll be too knackered to spend as I'm clearing out the sheds and utility slum for the builders to attack the rot tomorrow - it's a temporary 1 day job until we can afford to do it properly in the year 3000 !)

  • I have a day off so in theory it should be a nsd....

However, have had to go to post office to post all ebay and amazon parcels, total of £55!!

Shouldn't complain, sales have me well in profit and only seems fair that I actually post the items! :rotfl:

And one naughty purchase of mega bag of crisps at local garage, 99p.

Overall, a bad day for spending!
    Total debt £21,000

    Today

£1.04 posting an ebay sale so that'll go back into our account soon

and 20p on a naughty packet of lovehearts :o - why do I have to walk past all the sweets to get to the post office counter.

But 20p isn't too bad for today - straight home today as no rehearsal so that's saves a bit on food later.
