BT Sports & Sky

A quick query, I hope.
So football season is due to start soon, which means champions league & europa. Now both are BT sports.
I have a sky tv (recently extended my contract by 12 months, but at half price I couldn't really turn it down), now I could subscribe to BT Sports, £10.99 for 3 months then it goes up to £21.99 and I'm tied in for a year.
I looked at the other options, and it seems that if you have a BT Broadband account you can get a better deal. However downside, again I have just changed to plusnet (£50 quid free and only paying line rental) so not something I wanted to say no to. However here is where my query lies, the MIL has BT broadband and when you go to the page about adding BT Sports to Sky with BT broadband all it seems to ask for it the BT Account No and the Sky Card No, now could I in theory use her BT account no and my sky account no and take advantage of the deal that way?
Any help there would be appreciated

The standard BT Sport can in theory be used .
Thats the one used via smartphone or tablet BT Sports app .
The BT Sport TV package requires the BT Router of the member to be connected .
Not really sure about it adding in to the Sky package as i declined that route as overpriced .
BT Sports is from free with BB and BT TV with Sports in SD is from £0 per month.0 -
Plusnet offer BT Sport too, for Sky users. And its far cheaper.0

Absolutely correct. I am with Plusnet have got BT Sports for the last 1.5 months, when it was free as end of season for football. Managed to watch Champions League final and Europa Cup final in HD at no cost. Have just cancelled it as Plusnet will be charging for it.
Just to let people know. you can get BT Sports channel for one month and then cancel it after that. It normally takes 48hrs to turn on. Just give P/net you Sky card number and it will be activated.
Please remember that Sky have lost the Spanish football next season to BT,0 -
