Landlord failed to give Right of First Refusal

Hi All,

Seeking some advice and recommendations for a Solicitor who has solid experience in this specialist area.

I have read the Advice Guide about this on the Lease-advice site.

It appears a transfer was completed some years ago, without Section 5 notices being served before the transfer and no Section 3 / 3A notices being served subsequently.

Has anyone had experience of this type of situation and was impressed with the Solicitor they used?

    I assume this is a leasehold situation, not an AST situation.

    Did you actually hold the lease at the point the transfer occurred? If it occurred with a previous owner I doubt there's anything you can do. Maybe it's possible for the freeholder to bypass the process if he informally approaches the leaseholders first and they confirm they have no interest in purchasing?
