NHS Degree 2017. Has all financial help been stopped?

Options
Hi.

My partner is about to start her access course this September. With the intention of starting her degree next September. We have been looking into course fees and what bursaries are available.

We have come to realise that the government have stopped the bursaries and grants for NHS Degree starting in 2017.

She is 34. We have a household income of £20000 and 2 young kids.

Would she be allowed to apply for student finance for extra financial help? I'm under the impression that help for people doing other degrees is not applicable for people doing NHS Degrees?

Any advice welcome
Thanks

Have a look on your other thread where I've posted information on the current position.

No NHS bursary but she'll still get student loan and maintained loan (probably at highest rate).
