Husband at BHS - statutory redundancy query

Hi all,
My husband is a manager at a BHS store - which is closing soon as you all know.
He's obviously going to get redundancy from the government, along with 10,999 others. But can anyone tell me how long applications for statutory redundancy take, and how long it is between applying and getting the money?
Can anyone help?

I'm afraid it depends on a lot of factors. It could be 4 - 6 weeks. It could be longer.0
