Rotary watch

Can anyone help?
I brought a watch from H Samuel for my husband for Christmas 3 years this December. The pin winder kept coming out so we took it back and they sent it away and fixed it. 4 weeks ago we returned to the shop because the watch was not working and it had had a new battery. This has been sent back to Rotary who insist we pay £36 and £104 on top of that. The £36 H Samuel says is the outstanding balance. I paid in full in cash when I brought the watch. The £104 they can not tell us what it is for only that the watch is under a life time guarantee if serviced every 3 years. I can not find the receipt but the warranty booklet has been stamped. What can I do?

Ask H.Samuels to contact Rotary and find out what the £104 is for.
Im guessing it would be the cost for a service.0 -
Thank you powerful_Rouge for your reply. My husband had wondered if the £104 was for a service. The annoying thing is we never asked for one to be done. We will not buy a watch from them again.0

Maybe they were thinking along the lines of "If we service it whilst we carry out the repair, it will save Mr & Mrs Lamby sending it off twice. Plus we're sure they would agree to the service as they want to keep their lifetime guarantee intact."
Could be miles off the mark, but that's the first thing I thought of when reading your post.0
