Poor Little Kitty

On my way to work this morning I saw a little cat who had been run over on the other side of the road. A woman and man were helping it so I didnt stop. It was moving in pain and everything.
I was in tears all the way to work ranting on to my OH how anyone could just drive off etc.
Rang up the local PDSA (which is just down the road from where the accident took place) and the poor little thing didnt make it
:(
I know you have to report it if you knock over a dog, but why not a cat?!?!? They are peoples pets too, its disgusting. I couldnt bear to think that someone hit one of my girls and just drove off.
Sorry, just had to get this off my chest

I belive you don't have to report it because they are not classed as domesticated animals.
What a shame about the cat.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -
I agree it's horrible how some people treat animals, like they don't matter. I would have been upset and angry too at what you saw but the poor little cat was helped by some kind people in it's last moments and that is some comfort.
Lets hope karma catches up with the swine who just drove off.0 -
Heres hoping hey!
I know thats what makes me calmer about it, the fact that another lady was doing what I would have done if no-one else had been there. It had someone to talk to it and at least try to make it more comfortable

I don't understand how people can be so mean just to leave it there, knowing they have probally killed an inocent animal. Some people are especically horrible to cats which i really hate.
I have seen a dog being ran over, the owner was near by but was letting it walk down the road in a housing area??? It walking back up and the owner shouted really meanly and it ran back into the road into another car
I was about 10 at the time and i was so worried about it for a long time. 0
