Hi all we got a daewoo microwave from the studio catalogue my wife has. We got this end of April 2015. Yesterday the microwave works but doesn't heat anything up. We paid 70 pounds for it should this only last 14 months.
we only occasionally use it to heat dinners up possibly 2 to 3 times a week so it not used alot.
Many thanks for you time
Sorry if it's on the wrong place

Have a read of MSE's Consumer Rights guide and you will see that you have up to six years to seek a remedy from the seller.
Any manufacturer's warranty?0 -
hi many thanks for the reply
who do we talk to as we got it from the studio catalogue, but 14 months for a microwave doesn't seem long to last.
this is the microwave

Although not quite your scenario, this short extract should make it clear that if you have no warranty you should contact the seller:
Only you can say whether you have a warranty or not, or whether it has expired. Have a look at your warranty documentation.Know who's responsible
When returning items, beware shops trying the oldest trick in the book: saying they're not responsible for the shoddy goods and you must call the manufacturer. This is total nonsense!
If a company fobs you off by saying “go to the maker instead”, it's wrong. It's the retailer's job to sort it.
It doesn't matter if it's an iPod from a high street shop or a designer frock from a department store. If something's broken, torn, ripped or faulty, the seller has a legal duty to put it right as your contract is with it.0
