Is there any way round the BT and others anti tethering rule?

It's not unusual for tethering to be supported on a limited data plan. It's typically unlimited data plans (if they still exist) that don't allow it.0 -

Also, OP, the only way the Telco control if you can teather or not is by disabling the option on your phone. Simply buy an older phone (eg Samsung galaxy s2) which still has this option enabled.0
