Ryan Air change of flight refund within grace period

I booked a flight with Ryan Air and realised I had to change it pretty much immediately after booking it. They have a 24 hour grace period on their website and so I set about trying to change it. (Flight booked on Sunday at 3.45pm). Their phone line kept on dropping calls after 5 mins of waiting and their on line 'live chat' was not working either.

On Monday morning it was the same - no phone calls (call dropped after 17 min wait) and no joy with the live chat (I'm now about 16 hours into their grace period.) I therefore chose to 'change' the flight from a Sunday to a Wednesday (next available flight) online before the grace period ended. There was no change in flight cost but I was charged the £30 fee online to change it.

I finally got through to their live chat and, before I could explain the situation, the person at the other end told me that Ryan Air does not do refunds and suggested I book another flight. Before I could explain, he/she had left the room.

I'm asking for two things here. Can I pursue the refund as I made the flight change myself within the 24 hour grace period having made reasonable attempts to contact them? Secondly, does anyone have an email address for them where someone does answer emails?
