Hi
Just wondering if anyone else has been asked to provide copy of passport or driving licence and proof of address.
I was surprised to get this request as I was on the pilot programme.
Thanks

Yes, me too and I was also on the pilot.
Going to give this a miss as I can't be @rsed. Also had lots of declines on the pilot in stores, mainly in Spain, due to the time linking back to the donor card. New ATM charge is a downer as well.
I've got a Halifax Clarity and one of the older Nationwide Gold cards which both give me base rate transactions abroad.0 -
A friend of mine who was not on the pilot has been accepted. They were not on the pilot and has not been asked to provide ID0

Not asked for any id or proof of address. Only got the confirmation email yesterday, having signed up as soon as they launched the program officially.0

I was on the pilot and signed up last Monday. Took a whole week to get the confirmation email, asking for proof of name and address.
Meh.
Just as Virgo17 says above, the lag, extra hoops to jump through and the ATM withdrawal fee have pushed me into 'can't be arsed' territory too.
Found it was very patchy in acceptance too at Indian ATMs (was there for 5 months using the pilot card when I could). Most of the places I seem to go are cash-based economies, so think I'll stick with the Clarity and pay the cash withdrawal interest. Less fuss all round.0 -
Mine is on the way without passport/address verification.0

I've been asked. Never happened before with a card. Not going to bother as it is not nearly as good as the pilot and not worth the effort.0

My wife was asked for verification. (She wasn't on the beta.)
Before reading that message and less than three hours later, her welcome message arrived. Without the verification. Oo er.0 -
And lo and behold, next day she got this:You might have received an email from us asking you to upload further documentation. Please ignore this as your details have now been verified and there is nothing more for you to do other than watch out for your Supercard in the mailbox.
Rest assured - you are now fully registered for the new Supercard MasterCard® and we’ll pop your card in the post as soon as we can.0 -
Mine on its way without any info request0
