Ok, I love reading this thread but don't normally post, thought I would today and to get in to the habit.
Today I have:
- Checked my online backing & have hopefully finished sorting out all my DD and standing orders to come out of one account.
- Done my daily clicks on Quidco.com, annoyingly only one seems to have been being logged for the last week so only 8p a day instead of 30p
- Designed and printed off (at work) monthly wall planner so as can start getting home life a little more sorted
- Found address and printed off (also at work) letter to Co-op about their waste fruit and veg policy (I would like them to give it all to me for my goats to help save on feed bill, so after asking instore and being told that they aren't able to do this as it all goes into skip, have written them a nice letter asking if they could re-look at this policy)
- Done packed lunch shopping on way into work, but will have to stop on the way back to get the things I forgot
- Brought a packed lunch to work
Later I will:
- Run an after school club for a freelance project I'm doing to earn some extra money, £25 an hour
- Send off an item I've sold on ebay
- Pay cheque from an ebay item into bank
- Spend some time in the garden this evening sorting out another vegetable bed instead of watching tv
- Put on a load of washing and hang it out to dry
Wow, all the little two minute jobs really do add up, and mostly all done inbetween doing my 'real job'A Life Less Simple - one day I'll get there0 -
Cloebelle I use the Trainline Company, and buy through Quidco. If you find something even better, please let me know!

Today I have/will
-done my on-line banking.
-piggy/Quidco clicks done.
At the weekend I did
-4 mystery shops,
-sorted the stuff at home into Boot/e-bay piles and will list on Tuesday. (nothing sold last week, my rubbish must actually be rubbish.)
-did all my washing at 30 degrees and dries it outside. Saved on ironing by folding VERY FIRMLY.
-did all my cleaning using bicarb and star drops and elbow grease.

good afternoon hypno and friends, it's a beautiful day!
today I have/will
-been bad and bought lunch but only necessities and brought in other things to empty fridge
-thought about walking home to save second bus fare, but depends on when I get away and how much I have to do tonight
-sorted out my bank account so there is more than enough money for while I'm away (don't want to come home to charges!)
-finish packing and pampering myself so I don't have to run around like a numpty tomorrow morning
think thats it guys. Look after yourselves next week and I'll be back soon xx0 -
Wasn't online much over the weekend - OH was in a funny mood and needed some TLC .
We did make Chelsea buns from stratch yesterday though :T :T (had everything we needed in cupboards/fridge:D )
Today I have:
Bought in a pack up from home (left overs of last nights dinner)
Posted an ebay sale from yesterday which has netted me £18.30 profit :j
(and meant a little walk in the nice sunshine)
Caught up with MSE
Discovered I can get a prepayment certificate on a direct debit - I need 2 prescriptions a month at least - 3 in the summer and I've run out of one thing and was worried we couldn't afford to buy a 12 month certificate - this is all sorted now though :money: (well it's not really month saving but it spreads the cost and means we'll hopefully have spare money this month).
Today I will when I get home:
Make toad in the hole with leftover sausages and potatoes (having mash with it) new meal for me to make
Get that spreadsheet out with all my survey sites I do and try and sort it out/update it and see if there's any money/vouchers to be claimed
Check shopping list I've made for fresh stuff this week online to see that it's within budget.
Update spreadsheets etc. from internet banking - think we're doing ok this month so far :T
Look at flylady for today and do it - my 1st time
That looks like enough for now - I'll need a day off work to recover after all that :rolleyes:Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

Today, i had a NSD day at work, packed lunch etc etc. Didn't even buy a bar of chocolate!
However had to call in babysitting favour from a friend this afternoon from half two til six pm. So i felt obliged to buy her a bottle of wine to say thanks! Not very MSE but i was so grateful!
I did my Piggy and Quidco Clicks, filled in my spending diary from the weekend, got a £20 refund into my bank for some CD's i bought but didn't keep..... Had a store cupboard tea.
Got a letter from Egg on Friday saying they weren't going to refund any charges made on my Egg Loan... so i wrote to them today to say "What were the charges, as they hadn't actually told me, although they did tell me how many. Then asking them to reconsider and pay the difference between actual charges and OFT ruling. Fingers crossed!!!
Trying to steel myself for a £100 bill at garage on wednesday!!! Eeeeek!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0
