  • 2 months after my last post I pulled out of my daughters school and halfway down the road my car died. Many parents drove past and saw luckily most helped, one man in particular was my hero for the day, pouring rain and the same day my baby was asleep and I forgot to put a coat in the car. We made it to my parents house and my sister took me to a local garage where I bought a car. £6000 on finance, luckily 0% so I only have that to pay, almost 1 year on and £4,890 left to pay. Here we go again.
  • March is here. Now have added credit card debt thanks to ridiculous MOT bill of £800 on a 10 month owned car (is 4 years old we got it second hand) also partner took out a credit card for his new business but ended up buying me a £800 laptop for Christmas, nice of him but bloody annoying! Also another fault with the car adding £200 to credit card debt. Debt now £1300 without including car finance. We both had our hours cut at work, joint income now £1500 a month... have just re written our budget for the months ahead to get us back on track. Have confiscated parters cash cards (he does know about it) to limit spending unnecessarily like he does.
