Payment at Ibiza hotel Friday - Euro exchange rate

Hi we are flying to Ibiza this Friday and hotel is payment on arrival. Usually I would just pay on credit/debit card but given the referendum I have considered paying cash - is this okay is there an alternative I only have a day to sort out the money...

What on earth has the referendum got to do with a decision on how to pay?
If it's another question regarding what will happen to the FX on Friday, there's half a dozen other similar threads that may give you a steer, but probably not

er impact on the exchange rate??? If by chance vote leave the exchange rate will have a wobble I would have thought .. Therefore I was asking for advice on an alternative method to cash to 'lock in' rate pre referendum tomorrow.0
