LG and SOGA

I purchased an LG 55LB730V through an employer benefits scheme in 2014 and after 21 months of usage it's got stuck on the "LG Life's Good" screen upon turning on (obviously not so good as the TV isn't working). I phoned LG to explain the situation at which they said it's down to the retailer to solve, which in accordance to the SOGA (Sales of Goods Act 1979) is correct. I've spoken to my employer who have said they ordered directly from LG in bulk and are not the retailer. I have an invoice from LG Electronics UK that bills my employer and delivers to me. Where do I really stand in this situation and who really should sort it out? LG haven't really been great at dealing with this, their Customer Service is very poor. I'd purchased two other 55" TV's through the benefits scheme the year before and after the one that's faulty and both are working fine.

Any advice gratefully received.

Your employer is the purchaser .At a guess its a Business to Business transaction for Sale of Goods Act .
They need to go back to the vendor .
