in Credit cards
Hi
Does anyone know if Vanquis award credit limit rises according to account management - ie paying balance off in full, more than the monthly repayment or minimum repayment only?
I know its a horrendous card to have but in terms of credit building after a stormy time financially its my only option at present
TIA

Nobody can be certain how Vanquis or any other company score credit increases, for every post saying 4-5 months you should see one, there will be others saying they never get one, I've had them regular every 4 months and always paid off in full. Just keep your account in order and ensure you do so for any other credit commitments.
It's a slow process building your credit file up.

So long as you lay it off in full very month there's no reason why you can't get a second starter or poor credit card if you need it, just make sure you don't overspend or keep a balance on it.
If you do get a rejection on a second card then leave it for six months and give it another go.0
