Management company.... never registered
Anyone ever heard of a newbuild development never registering the management company?
The house was built 2007. Sols are baffled as it is mentioned in the sellers paperwork that fees per annum is due. I have knocked on doors and it seems well known that developer just never set the company up.
After this amount of time is the matter moot as the council have been taking over the care of the green spaces and road?

That's good is it not? Least now you don't have to pay huge fees to a parasite management company.
I've seen estates where fees are due to a management company that is named after the estate but infact it is a dormant Ltd company with another management company being listed as a director. No idea about the legalities on that.0 -
This is similar, the company is noted in the docs and is named after the group of houses.
Whats the chances they will pop up and claim back payments? Please note I have a cognitive disability - as such my wording can be a bit off, muddled, misspelt or in some cases i can miss out some words totally...0 -
AHA!, resolved. while trolling the facebook page for the area i noted a thread but a irate lass who was trying to sell. This caused her to lose the purchaser as the developer was slow/incompetent and confused - she resolved it in the end and sold - but it took a dogs age.
She & local MP found a good contact at the developer and posted the details. I will pass to the sols this morning (and send a thank you to the lass)Please note I have a cognitive disability - as such my wording can be a bit off, muddled, misspelt or in some cases i can miss out some words totally...0 -
Please come back and tell us the outcome. If she had to pay fees to this company to sort it that would not be good news at all. Now reminded that there is an estate full of houses to collect money from no doubt there will be bills arriving.AHA!, resolved. while trolling the facebook page for the area i noted a thread but a irate lass who was trying to sell and this caused her to lose the purchaser as they could not confirm details with the developer who were slow/incompetent- she resolved it in the end and sold - but it took a dogs age.
