Missing mortgage on my credit files

Hi,

I am going to apply for a new mortgage in a few months, so thought I would check my credit files. I have never done it before so checked Experian, ClearScore and Noddle. I was expecting to see my existing mortgage details on them, but there is no sign of. All my other accounts and credit cards etc are there, on all three agencies.
I have had a joint mortgage with my partner for 19 years and been with our current provider for the last 14. Our payments are made from a joint account which is on my credit files. I have been living at this address for 14 years.
My partner hasn't checked her files yet, so I do not know if it is on hers.
Has anybody else had this issue? Should I be concerned about this as it may effect my new application? If so, how do I go about getting this corrected? I assume I need to contact my current mortgage provider?
Thanks.

You can raise a dispute - especially with Experian asking why the account is missing?

Hi LittleXplosion, we would certainly expect to see your mortgage to be reported to at least one of the credit reference agencies.

There can be a few reasons as to why it would not appear on your Experian report. These could be due to the format of address used by your bank if this doesn't match the format of address used to produce your Experian report, if it is under an alias if you have changed name since opening the account, and for older accounts if the bank does not have consent to share the information.

Our blog covers potential reasons for missing information in more detail here.

If you contact us with your details we will be able to help locate the account for you.

    Kind regards

I have the same issue. My joint mortgage with my fiance is on his credit files but not on mine. I posted about this a while ago and was advised to contact my mortgage provider (Halifax) Haven't got round to it yet though
I might be broke but happy but I'd happily not be broke!
