As said though, Keeper is entirely different to Owner.

it's a fair bet that as finance is involved then all the paperwork would be in OPS name, especially as finance is tied to the vehicle. I doubt they would lend if the legal owner wasn't going to be the borrower. They like things all to tie together to make repossession easier if needed.

That is totally inaccurate.

Finance Company doesn't care who the registered keeper is, they will only check if you stop paying the Finance and they want to find it and will do a search to find out what address it is registered at in an attempt to recover it.
