Hey, thanks. To be honest that's what I thought. Ah well. I'm going to call Nationwide bank insurance after a good online quote and see what they have to say...
Cheers again.0 -
2 points worth remembering -
Firstly, if you cancel your existing insurance mid-term i.e. after a renewal date you will incure charges and you might not get back a `pro rata` refund - check with you existing insurer to see what refund you would get.
Secondly, even by cancelling your existing policy and taking-out a new policy in June you cant say to the new company you have 1 years NCB because you wont have it until Mar 06 - your existing company will only supply evidence of full years NCB.
You will need to do your maths to work it all out, but to be honest it normally works out better by completing whole years and switching insurance companys when you policy is due for renewal.
P.S. Did the claim cost a lot ? if not some comanys allow you to repay back the total claim cost and you can then keep your NCB.0 -
The car is a a Peugot 206 1.4HDi, 04 plate (small slow car, no-one wants to steal
)
Im 25, but only got around to taking my test when i was 23.
SO ive been driving 2 years but only 1 years NCD as i was driving my parents cars.
The Postoffice and AA quotes were a lot cheaper than others.
both had £100 excess on accidents, £50 on windscreens, £50 audio.
