Indeed I have seen that. But what I am interested to know, for new application whether. it will need to be full switching (e.g closing the account) just just SOs and/or DDs switching.
Also when I open my M&S account I did a full switching and got their £100 voucher incentive. I understand for the people in this situation they do not need to do a full switching anymore to opne a new Monthly saver when the old one is maturing. just need to make sure that they still have 2DDs active, has ai missed something here ??
thanks
The OP had not switched to M&S as there was no requirement to do so a year ago, hence my posts,
If you have switched an account to M&S then you have already completed 50% of the T&C's so you just need to add the 2 x DD to your account and make sure they stay active, (so pay out at least once in the 12 months).
Customer Services will have record of your switch, which will be checked when you open the monthly saver.
In answer to your partial switching question, I'm not sure there is any banks now that offer a partial switch now, and if they do, they don't pay any incentives.

From the link:
Clear enough?The switch date
Your old bank account will close and any remaining credit balance will be transferred to your new M&S current account. We will write to you to let you know the move is complete. Any credits or debits accidentally sent to your old account will be redirected safely to your new one for 36 months, giving you plenty of time to make sure you’re happy that everything is as it should be.0 -
we will still be able to open a 2nd M&S Regular Saver, after the 1st one has run it's course, from the same M&S Current Account, won't we?:think:0

Yes, if you have switched another account into the M&S current account and if it has two active DDs, or if you can make those things happen before you want to renew.
If you have not previously switched or have no DDs and cannot arrange for this to happen they will not let you renew the regular saver.
I renewed mine a couple of weeks ago and the lady on the phone was going through the criteria out loud ("I see you've switched to us in the past... you have your two direct debits...") so they do check.0 -

"A couple of months back" is the key thing. I believe the requirements for renewals changed in April or May this year. Renewals now require a switch and two active DDs.0 -
