Hello all
I have a Nokia Asha 303 and for some reason the battery runs out within a day and its not even used much at all. Ive bought a new battery for it but that didn't solve the problem, so I dont know what it could be? Is there something activated thats causing it to run out so fast maybe? Is there anything I can do to stop this happening?
Thanks all in advance!

Start removing apps until the situation improves, when it does improve you'll know the app that caused it.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Taking the faceache app off my phone helped no end. The other one that really drains the battery is the satnav app when in use.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Bear in mind that the Asha 303 (which I'd never heard of) is not really a smartphone and uses Nokia's now-defunct Series 40 OS, so probably doesn't normally eat it's battery the way a fully featured OS does. Although I see that it does include Facebook, and it's map uses the mobile network as it doesn't have GPS, so turning both off when not in use would probably be a good idea.0

There are about 15 games and facebook in the apps. But facebook is not even being used though, so will removing the games and facebook even though the are not used help the battery?and it's map uses the mobile network as it doesn't have GPS
How do I turn off the Map? I can see the Map in the apps but its not used.0 -

Call me old fashioned, but my work phone is still one of these:
I charge it about once every 10 or 11 days and it's nearly bullet proof. I've lost count of the times I've dropped it (once from about 12 feet up a ladder).
High tech is good in its place but sometimes you can't beat low tech workhorses.0 -
I recently had a similar problem with my Motorola Moto G. It went from needing charged maybe twice a week to running out of battery from 100% in a little over 24 hours.
Turns out it was my building factor's app causing the drain. Which is weird, as all it is is a list of contact numbers and a shortcut to their payment website. I uninstalled it and am back to normal now. So definitely try removing apps that you don't need to see if one of those is the culprit.0
