Potential savings there: I tend to buy outright, amortise over around 18 months at £10 p.m. and have a Giff Gaff package at £7.50 a month. I appreciate you'll probably want a package with more minutes as you tell everybody about the baby! That's not a top end phone but perfectly adequate 4G etc, and if I manage not to drop it down the loo (like the previous one...) and get more than 18 months then I gain. I agree BB is essential, but you could use Skype and the like to save on the phone.
As pointed out, why have MS-Office when you could have Openoffice, or Libre Office. Is there any possibility you could get work to pay if you do any work from home? Put some of the Sky/Cineworld money towards a few beers to share on the sofa - the German discounters do some good ones and I think I've seen a stout or two, though maybe not milk stout..
I already said I was prepared to remove those
Luckily, i was just coming back to say, my partner found a 2 month contract job so we're sorted for the meantime! It should be much easier for him to get another job after this.
Thanks to everyone for their advice.Debt: 7305

I'm not sure when you think you'll have time or inclination to go to the cinema with a baby, and a bit the same for Sky, you'll just fall asleep in front of the TV whenever you sit down ...
Triple check what use you're making of Amazon Prime, I've never thought it worthwhile. And you're paying monthly for Microsoft Office? Get one of the open source packages!
I didn't, i already said i was happy to remove those . . .Jeez, doesn't anyone read stuff properly anymore lol.
Anyway, it doesn't matter now. i was just coming on to say that my partner has a 2 month contract job, so we're fine now. It should be much easier for him to find work after this.Debt: 7305

Yes should be easier but no harm in looking what you can cut back on if there's a period where he has no work0
