    +1 on above.

    Somethings not adding up.

If you paid for seat assignments to sit together and they held seats for you as you say, if they can no longer honour this arrangement then they need to refund you.

Whilst actual seat numbers can change and they may need to move people for operational reasons, they need to place you in suitable alternatives.

Splitting you up would not be classed as a suitable alternative.

They are saying that because we fly this week it is too late to change anything which is why we can't have seats together. Apparently they were not aware of the glitch until I rung them the other day which is why they can't place us in suitable alternative.

They've told me to speak to cabin crew and they will see what they can do.

Just very upsetting the whole thing. I've tried tweeting them but I just get told they wish they could help me but they can't and I have to hope cabin crew can do something :(

They refuse to refund us as apparently the terms and conditions state it is non refundable and it's too late and out of there hands to change things. I never knew I would dread a holiday so much :(

Print all of this off and take it with you, show it to them when you check in, if they can sort you out then I am sure they will do so.
I know it's easy to say, but please don't worry, you will be fine, just talk to the person you are sitting next to and if you want to hold their hand just ask them, I have held many a hand of a stranger in my years of flying. Enjoy your holiday xx

You need to wait until you've returned home, and then you know which seats you actually ended up in. If they're not together and broadly similar to what you prebooked, then write to them asking for a refund.

It's quite clear on their website.

"Why didn't I get the seats that I chose using Select Your Seat?

We're sorry you didn't get the seats you asked for. Occasionally, we may need to change the seats - usually due to operational, safety or security reasons. Our Select Your Seat service is provided using Civil Aviation Authority guidelines, so we need to meet various requirements before we can allocate seats near the exits. For details on the restrictions of theses seats, take a look at 'Can I book seats with extra space?'.

If we do need to change your seat, we try to give you another one that's as close as possible to what you originally booked. That said, some seats together may be across an aisle or behind each other.

    Refunds
We can only offer a refund if we can't seat your group together and in a similar position to the seats you originally requested. If you didn't receive seats together or in a similar position then please contact us and we'll look into this for you. "
