Faulty Goods Currys

I bought a fridge freezer from Currys on line in December 15 and it broke down 10 days ago.
It took 10 days for an engineer to come out to look at the fridge f reset and he said that it needs a damper a PCB board and a water tank and it's going to take 3 weeks for the part to arrive.
I spoke to daemon Ho got in touch with Currys and told Currys to replace the Daewoo fridge freezer.
Currys do not have a like for like product in store or online and want me to pay an additional £300 towards a replacement as the original one we bought was heavily discounted.
I do not think that this is fair.

You're entitled to a refund, repair or (equivalent) replacement. You cannot be put in a better position as you were before the contract so you're only other option would be to take a refund and buy elsewhere but be aware if the purchase was made over 6 months then Curry's are entitled to make a deduction based on your usage.
