Sainsbury's credit card

Applied for this for the 27 month 0% on purchases....
....two weeks ago.

I don't ever remember an application with other cards taking so long. I've even been with them before a few years ago.

I applied online & was accepted. They said they'd send out a form i needed to sign & return. I've had absolutely nothing though since i got that approval. Not a single thing through the post in 2 weeks.

Is this a normal timeframe with them?

They are pretty slow. On the 29th May I applied for a Virgin Money card for BT and a Sainsbury's one for spending. Both were accepted.

The Virgin Money card and pin were with me by the following weekend. With Sainsbury's it was way slower.

-29th May....Application
-2nd June...Credit Form Received, signed and sent back
-15th June...PIN received through the post
-17th June...Card received through the post

I've registered online and I've now got to wait on a code being posted to me. Lets hope it arrives before my first statement!!

Got an email today saying my application was being processed.

Marvellous.

I wonder when the 0% on purchases begins??

Here's 27 months, but it'll take us 26 months to give you a card. :-/

Without my PC I don't know the exact date but I think I applied for this around 5th June.

Received my PIN on Monday.

Hopefully my card arrives this lifetime.

Will be interesting to know when my 27months starts from.

It'll start from the creation of your account. So already started.

So it's a little on the lines of false advertising then.

27 months but it'll take us forever & a day to send your card to you.
