The general rule is that the next meeting is advertised per any requirements per the articles, and that the minutes for the previous meeting are distributed prior to this. At or before the next meeting, any objections to the accuracy of the minutes can be expressed, and they can be amended accordingly. They are then signed as being a true account of the meeting they represent. So unless your company has some seriously odd articles of association, I think you should be fine completing minutes the meeting after.0

Writing the minutes during the meeting and having everyone read and sign on the spot is a system known as Quaker minutes. It ensures everyone agrees, prevents later disputes about meaning. In my experience it is a good system in situations where conflict might arise, but pretty unusual in practice.0

I hope it wont come to this. But it is exactly what I was thinking.
I am meeting them tomorrow, armed with a copy of our Articles of Association (which I doubt they have read). They are still under the impression than any decisions made are void and they are still in charge as Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer! Well, lets see how this goes.
It struck me as odd that an accountant should be advising us on this (they are our registered office is the only other association) but I'm tempted to say, "lets take this to a solicitor: If I'm right, you pay, if you're right, I'll pay!"0
