Extended warranty

Hi All,
I bought a car for £10000 on Tuesday and on my credit card paid £249 for an extra years warranty.
Yesterday I crashed the car, and in my opinion was the garages fault as a part of the brake flew off which meant my foot slipped off of the brake and as it is an automatic the car kept going forward.
My query is whether or not I can get a rebate for the extended warranty as I no longer have faith in the vehichle or the garage?
