To most people 4G is Voodoo and for that reason is little underdtood. With x3 frequencies running different in different countries, for example the 'wall buster' I mentioned in an earlier # is no good for people wanting long distance.(TR) have a good write on it for UK users - read it if you seek understanding.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. What? LOL
3G has been around for years and people know what that is, it isn't going to take much for people to work out that 4G is the newer and faster version... especially with it being advertised on TV every day.
I can't speak for the One plus brand... or many others.. but I have a medion dual sim phone (though technically it's the aldi version that medion don't sell directly). Dual sim, 8 and 5MP cameras, 16GB storage, 1GB ram, quad core, proccy... it's great... as budget smart phones go. I think the most useful bit is the dual sim... anyone that needs my number that i don't really want troubling me gets the number thats turned off most of the time :rotfl: It also has 4G on both sim slots.. many dual sim phones only have one slot that can be used for the web.
Oh and watch out for the yahoo mail app. On some phones it !!!!!!s up everything from GPS to apps working properly. No idea why, I can only assume yahoo are also in bed with the CIA and scanning through everything on the phone 24/7.0 -

My boy had his Oneplus 3 delivered yesterday & it looks mighty impressive for the price (£309).
He was hoping to just swap his sim over from his galaxy but the One+ takes a nano sim, not a micro... something to be aware of.Always try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!0 -

Port the number if you want to go that route. Its on Oxygen not Cyanogen, but excellent value nonetheless. You son will love its class for the money. Best of luck.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. He's not really bothered about keeping his number, he's gone for a sim only contract for the One+ (he was PAYG on his Galaxy)
I've just done a quick compare with my HTC m8 & it's certainly "up there" from what I can see.Always try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!0 -

I had the 1+1 when it was released, ditto the 1+2. The 1+3 was supposed to go Amazon distribution according to the rumour but didn't .. .. however its up @ £309 on the DOT.net legit OnePlus UK site.
So I've been with 1+ since they started. Already sold the 1+2. The unmarked 1+1 is parked up packed as a spare as is my original S1.
For those in the know the 1+3 does not come ready with the CM 13.0 CyanogenMod 10.1.3 but the Android OS, v6.0.1 [Marshmallow] but instead uses the Oxygen OS.
For the O/P GT60 it was supposed to go Amazon @ £220 ish, but the now price of £309. I've bought from that very site x2 times [1st was by invite] including the 1+3 without any problems at all. The fact that it ships on Oxygen not Cyanogen is probably best for the average user. Yes I paid full whack and was happy to do so - hell of a phab for the money. Best of luck.
Hi there, do you know if this phone will run the Barclays mobile app?
Barclays apps dont run on rooted phones and I've rooted my Samsung, so as the 1+3 is not standard Android I wondered if it'd work?
Thanks for your help!0 -
No idea odalay, I don't have / never had Barclay's or any banking app on any of my phones. A new 1+3 stock is 3.0.2 so will not be rooted anyway.
For a definitive rock solid answer GoTo XDA dev forum and ask, but I see no reason why the app won't work 'out of the box'. Best of luck my friend.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion.
