PIP Assessment Report Errors

There are a number of errors and inconsistencies in my PIP report. I've not had a decision made on my case yet, is it possible to supply new information to them before they make the decision to correct the errors. Or do I have to wait for a decision and Mandatory Reconsideration/Appeal?

Answering my own question!
Yes, you can send them new information after your Assessment. I phoned up and told the call centre that there were errors in my Health Professional's report I was sending new evidence. They put a hold on the decision being made until after the new evidence had been received.
I'm not sure how effective my letter pointing out the inconsistencies in the Health Professional's Report was, but I do know that the health professional's report didn't give me enough points for a care award, and just gave me a standard mobility award. The Decision Maker awarded me 2 extra points for care, bumping me up to Standard Care, the mobility score remained the same.
The Decision maker awarded extra points based on me explaining something the Health Professional should have understood based on my medical history, but didn't.
However the Decision Maker's final award explanation, still stated incorrectly that I attend/attended therapy twice a week, which I certainly don't/didn't and had tried to correct in my letter. Admittedly that probably wouldn't have made a difference to my award, but it's absurd that it's so hard to correct even simple mistakes that end up in official documentation.
I'm not sure it's worth going to mandatory reconsideration/appeal to set right facts that probably don't make any difference to my award. Although there are a number of other more subjective problems relating to my ability to carry out a descriptor safely, within a reasonable time and repeat as necessary that may warrant an appeal, so I'll see what the advice service suggest.
Anyway, simple answer if you are being transferred from DLA to PIP (and DLA payment will continue until you get a PIP decision) get your Health Professional's report immediately after your Assessment, and if it is incorrect phone immediately to stop a PIP decision being made before you can respond.0
