Simply Yours/Simply Be/Naturally Close/Viva La Diva

Hi guys, i'm posting this to see if anyone else has had any problems with these guysor thier "partners" I think the whole of JD williams is pretty much the same company.

I had an order "go missing" from Simply Yours, it just completely dissapeared it seemes - i obviously put in a claim, it was sorted out within about three months and ended with contact with royal mail inquiring about the order. I was refunded the money for the order but i dont know about interest incurred in that time.

Ok, this just might have been legitimate but now here comes the real gut wrenching thing - after a few orders, all going well i returned a parcel to them with a few items inside - it was a few but they were silk anna sholz nightwear and elixir (expensive) underwear, and the value was around £200. I didnt have very much space to keep the huge boxes that they were delivered in so as i called them to check that it was ok to send all the items in one parcel, they said this was not ideal but it would be ok.

I posted the parcel at the post office and got a certificate of postage.

When checking my account - they only processed ONE BRA!!!!! There were three return forms folded together, and everything was packed tightly and securely. I just cant believe it!!

There is no way this is a legitimate honest company, and i suppose the reason they split up into so many sub companies is so they catch people who are not aware they are part of the rest.

Does anyone else have any feedback about this company?

  • I have been shopping with them for years, and never had any problems!
  • Have to say that I've never had a problem either, I've always been really happy with their service.

    Sounds like a processing error.

What you have described is hardly a scam?!

I doubt you would think that if you were in my position. I'm facing having to pay for £170 of goods i sent back and just a few months after making a claim for a "missing order" which was huge so not the sort of thing that could have been dropped or mislaid.

Someone made a mistake and with a company that large it's going to happen occassionally. They have been operating for a lot of years and you don't see many complaints about them.

Did you not consider paying extra for some sort of insurance cover given that you were sending something of value?
  • Use them alot and only once had a problem and it was rectified very quickly.

  • At the end of the day they ask you to return things in their origainal packaging for a reason its not to make life easier for them but to protect the customer from mistakes like this i know my catalougue comes and collects the returns at no cost so i dont have the worry of items going missing or paying for expensive parcels

How long did you keep the items for?!! Surely you would try them on, find that they were not suitable, and then send them back? It would probably take you longer to put the packaging in the bin!

    Nonsense.

    Spot on.

Have you actually asked them to look into the whereabouts of the missing returns?
