Don't do it. If you ARE going down that route, then you need to aim much higher as an invoiceable rate to be ahead.
They don't have a permanent job they are already a contractor and work as a sole trader on £25k and have been offered a new contract on £29k but to genuinely be a client - consultant relationship rather than potentially be seen as a employer - employee relationship they must be contracted through a limited company.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

As you are already a sole trader this is an incredibly obvious decision.
