Morning all

Off into London today for a very special reason. There's an exhibition on at the V&A featuring work by the engineering firm my lovely dad used to work for. Hoping very much they will have stuff from some of the sites I used to be taken to as a little girl.0 -

Thanks Juju - that does help my understanding. The main problem I have had is that I had no idea at all that there was a £5000 savings allowance ! With my 2 pensions I know I wS paying tax on a couple of thousand pounds over my personal allowance but I would still have had around £1000 left of the £5000 allowance. All my savings interest was paid after tax and I am now thinking that I should not have paid tax on all of the interest - I didn't claim any back cos I didn't know I could. And I wonder how many others have been caught out.ELITE 5:2
