Good afternoon ..hope everyone is coping with the heat and drinking plenty...I have just had a really fun Skype with my D Bro in Denmark he is busy paint his openplan downstairs and being a smoker it needs doing quite frequently ..He was so excited cause his slow cooker has been delivered and he has been trying to get one for quite a while...he then ask me to get mine out of the cupboard to compare the sizes and I was unsure how many litres mine was so the way we compared was to put the glass lids on our heads his idea I might add and judge it that way :eek:we laughed so much I nearly peed me draws:rotfl::rotfl:..I do love my little Bro .

    Afternoon all.
Lovely visit with Greenfinger yesterday. We sat in the garden and had coffee, cake and a catchup. She brought me a beautiful tree lily, something I've never grown before, so kind of her. I'm so lucky to have such lovely friends.
Mum brought round a plant too, as a peace offering/apology. I accepted gracefully and all is well. I hate falling out with her, luckily it's not often, but sometimes, under provocation, I fail to hold my tongue:(
Off for a read back now, but thought I'd show you my big black pussit. She has bowls of water everywhere, but prefers it from the watering can filled from the waterbutt.

Bless her. I thought it was so funny when she stuck her head right inside the watering can and sulked because can needed filling up.
Such a sweetie (from a distance),
Nice you had some company and now a lily as well:)

Still housebound but back is getting better slowly. Still can't reach to pick up watering can so praying for rain tonight.

I just wish they would charge £50 and then I could use my £10 discount code :)

Make sure you check all the offers right to the last one as I got that offer and further down 750 points about a month ago, both no minimum spend and when I used my card at Homebase they both got added. :T

Oh mhoc I have just looked today and I have 1000 points no minimum spend for homebase. :o In past 2 months I have had the 500 points twice, first time I only spent £2 so profit, plus the 750 points and now they have upped it to 1000, I can feel the luurve.

deep sigh - maybe it's because I've only bought reduced plants on my last couple of Homebase visits and they don't see me as a serious shopper :)
