    Evening All,

Speaking of ale. I've just found a wombled receipt in my pocket from Friday night, checked it and have got a not too shabby £3.03 back, mainly thanks to this AvM comparison.

5x Brewdog Dead Pony Club Session Pale Ale (330ML) £10.00 £7.65

Never heard of this ale and with a name like that it doesn't sound too appetising. EDIT, ignore using with the trigger as Dead Pony is not in an offer.

    Here's the full AvM comparison.

    1x Grower's Selection Blackberries (150G) £2.00 £2.00
1x Chefs Special Kashmiri Lamb Rogan Josh Main for 2 (400G) £3.25 N/A
3x Chosen By You Indian Tonic Water With Lemon (1LT) £1.00 £1.24
    1x Tandoori Chicken Wings (300G) £2.50 N/A
    1x Semi Skimmed Milk (2PT) £0.75 N/A
    1x Greek Style Natural Yogurt (500G) £1.00 £1.00
    1x Chicken Balti Main for 2 (450G) £3.00 N/A
    1x Grower's Selection Watercress (85G) £1.00 N/A
    1x 18 Indian Sharing Feast (351G) £2.00 N/A
5x Brewdog Dead Pony Club Session Pale Ale (330ML) £10.00 £7.65
    1x Grower's Selection Strong Wild Rocket (70G) £1.00 N/A
    1x Light Greek Salad Cheese (200G) £1.18 N/A
    2x Beck's Blue Alcohol Free Lager 0.0% ABV (6X275) £5.50 £6.68
    1x Grower's Selection Cucumber Portion (EACH) £0.24 £0.21
1x Quaker Oat So Simple Porridge Variety Pack (297G) £2.38 £2.44
Comparison total (compared products only) £22.12 £21.22

I had a good receipt that compared against M. I made the right decision to go to the little A and buy some Chicken Breast Fillets earlier - it just logistically needed to be in the freezer before I could go to the main superstore for the rest of my shopping and pick someone up. I used one of my fish shops from earlier to buy it with (yes, I've been holding onto it that long) and in the absence of any glitches:(. I saw no chance of doing a shop against W, so just bought it on a non-comp. shop as more than 10% cheaper than elsewhere. The womble from the small supermarket gave me £5.50! (I think that's the best one I've had from a supermarket.) For once, they bought the right wines - threefold, though I now wish they'd bought tenfold:rotfl: - namely one that was more expensive! It was quite a bit cheaper than M. However, their shopping bill was about £55, so about five pounds off it is still nearly £50! It results in them getting the Cathedral Cheese for expensive £3.15 (as M is £3.50 and the best comp. overall) and thus A is still being paid more for that than if it had been bought at T at the moment at £2, even after the APG!

So I lost a £3.40 womble (chicken fillets and another item) but replaced it with £5.50 - so it was a good decision overall. I forgot to take any one pound coin with me to separate the trolleys - so I went paid with the APG and a two pound coin for a few pence excess:eek:(:rotfl:) and got about £1.90-something in change, including a pound coin.

The Brewdog still seems a bit dear, even after the APG as it's working out at over £1.53 pricing for M and for 330ml whereas I look for £1 for 500ml. [Strike]I think[/Strike] EDIT: I know (but can't remember precisely what size it was) there was some other Brewdog beer on RTC in M about four weeks ago - may be the cans pack - probably still is on RTC as these RTCs are never gone - but I then thought the price was still way too high so it didn't get onto the list. It may have been the Brewdog This is Lager - not sure if it was a pack size that it turned out A doesn't have online and therefore wasn't good enough to buy in M:rotfl:. Similarly, the cheaper wine is no good for Elite purchasing;):money::rotfl:.

I think all the ISA rates are dire. Have you maxed out all the current accounts, e.g 3xBOS, Tescox2 TSBx3 NWx1 the list goes on. These rates are better than an ISA even if you are a non tax payer surely?

Becks blue has some additional cashback on shopmium app!

Thanks Simpson, I've seen the shopmium app mentioned but not downloaded it yet. The shopitize clever bunny has annoyed me so much that I didn't feel like getting another one but I will give it a go.

No bother it was sent in an email to me and I knew about the phone bit but not the part of pressing 2 keys on your comp gives them access not that I ever would anyway

That bit of the email is a little misleading David.

Holding down the Windows key and pressing R simply launches the Run Box which is a quick way of accessing certain features or running programs.

    2u5dvyp.jpg

You would then need to type a run command into the box, and download/run a programme, before anyone could gain remote access to your computer.
