Had a busy week at work then catering for Russell Watson on Friday in Bournemouth. Up early yesterday to help DD with a NCT baby sale ( not very good this time she only made £15.00 ) so knackered today.
Having day on my own catching up with paperwork gardening and housework. Rained overnight but lovely and fresh now.
Sis annoyed as I refused to spend the day taking Mum to a family christening and birthday party in Salcombe. Her OH is going instead and my brother will be there to help push the wheelchair as its his grandchildrens party.
She maintained phone silence all day yesterday thinking I would phone and change my mind. Oh the perils of being brought up in catholic family. The guilt is everywhere!!
New bathroom and boiler almost done and builders coming tommorow to look at starting dates and so I can go through the schedule with them. New kitchen chosen ( all Neff Appliances) so we will see tommorow if it fits into the budget or iff Ill have to argue. Now just need to choose paint colour for the house ( all the same I think ) and start looking at carpets and floor coverings. So exciting!!0 -

Sounds like you have gone from distressed to excited :T
Also sounds like you have learned that you have to put yourself first from time to time. That is the biggest thing ever, well done. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I seem to have! When I think back to how things were in 2007/2008 when OH's drinking was at its worst I cant believe I am the same person. On my old laptop ( thats in storage at present) I have the whole thread I used to write on here about my life and it makes difficult reading . Still things are so much better now even with the house problems. Cant really partake in the Asda glitch at present as I need to wait till I am home and have somewhere to put things. My Dad had a little shed on his allotment before he died and my OH has it and when he comes back it will become my stash shed. Dad would have approved. I videod Russell Watson singing Return to Sorrento on Friday from side of the stage as it was the song my Dad always sang. Made me cry when I listened to it. Have a lovely day all
I forgot to ask does anyone hear from Fairclaire at all?0
