A have their bases covered with the new SEL - as it says Offer rather than which offer, and only becomes 3 for 2 when they put the printed plastic cover over it, they can deny the offer when it does not kick in correctly (or where there is a wrong SEL) as you cannot show which offer it was supposed to be. I experienced this earlier instore but decided not to argue the point as she price matched £3 per box and £2 GC, so I paid £7 for 3 of the Oral B 3D White Artic (in the purple box which had an Offer SEL from the white box - it should match £4 A v £2 M per box if it pays of, but the multi was not on this one :(. Hopefully it matches M as I will then have paid 40p for 3 for this test shop ;).

Unless you are lucky enough to come across a store which has gathered all the 3 for 2 items together in their small seasonal aisle (Hazel Grove Asda) for anyone lurking near there :)

Made a mistake with my Marksies food shop today:o

I had a £5 off wys £35 on food and flowers.
I used my last £10 MyMail voucher, £10 loyalty voucher, leaving me to pay a tenner for lots of nice food....mainly chicken to be fair but some nice jars of pesto and I threw in a box of Felix as I knew we were getting low.

Of course I didn't get my £5 sparks discount as you can't include branded items in your qualifying spend.:o

I queried it as I couldn't understand why it didn't work. The supervisor kindly offered to put the shopping through again for me and add items to the value of the cat food. Had I been on my own I would have accepted the offer but mr TM had already carried the shopping back to the car ahead of me. I nearly did it just to see the expression on his face :rotfl::rotfl:

The supervisor said ....no problem....you can use it against your next £35 spend within the next 5 days.:o Some people just dont understand:o:rotfl:

Oh, I do empathise. That's two of us now that they have caught out over this offer. They told me it was still valid on my Sparks card so I could use it 'next time.' :rotfl:

To add insult to injury, I've just got out my minced beef to split into two and it's all turned grey. Only purchased Thursday pm, still sealed, no punctures. Dated today, I must admit, but you'd think it might at least look decent till midnight....

I'll use up my All4One or whatever they're called, then it's Lidl all the way...
