Good morning all, cloudy here at the moment, but this is how it started yesterday too and it turned out glorious.

Haven't seen the Little Owl again yet, if we see it today we would conclude that we have been adopted as part of it's territory and would be thoroughly delighted.

Treated myself to a new microwave yesterday, given up waiting for the old one to go wrong (it must have been about 15 years old ) and wanted a smaller one because it was taking up so much room. Used £50 of Nectar points and got it for £9.95 real cash in Argos :)
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

I was surprised to hear it was ringed but apparently that's not uncommon

    Good morning all....

It's a little cold this morning...but the day has potential I think.

Well done Emerald on your BELLA I meal...it's good to see that there was at least 1 elite winner.

So onto my toiletry update .....the ins were 12 mostly made up of S 50p items none of which I needed but TBH it was the thrill of the chase and the fact that I actually found some on the shelves that led me to load them into my basket last week...
Anyway it was 5 argan body butters,3 mandra hand wash's and 3 mandra body lotions...all now stashed away for future use....the other in was a treat sized elemis day cream

the outs were 2 full sized products a gel and a face wash.

I need to do better....I have a lot of things that are almost finished so will try to concentrate on them this week and now the itch in S has been scratched all should be good there too...

I needed to add £5.50 to the toiletry spend too.

Have a lovely sunny week all.....it going to be a rocky ride here...there is so much going on and hopefully by the end of the week we should know if we will be exchanging on the new rental property that we are trying to purchase....fingers crossed please....

I've also been invited to school prize giving...I have not set foot near the place since DS left last summer, but have received an invite to this years event..very mixed feelings about attending but I think its probably important to go if only to conclude a few things and be able to inch a little more forward xx
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend
