The price on T.com today was back to full price. I assume because all orders, CC or HD would have to be for tomorrow when they would be full price.

I checked on T.com. Yesterday by putting them in a CC for today and they were half price. I assumed therefore that they would still compare but they didn't. So you cannot do an A v T shop on the laser day of the T offer.

    Nope unfortunately not :(

    Evening all.
Lovely solitary afternoon dozing under the umbrella in the garden, with showbox on the tablet for a little light relief.:D
    Ankle very swollen today.:(
TM, I've just watered the garden. One Beckham boot, crutch on one arm and hosepipe in the free hand. DH kindly did the front garden.
Just seen two hummingbird hawk moths whizzing about, and the buddlea has a few peacock and red admiral butterflies topping up for the night.
Greenfinger is visiting me tomorrow, looking forward to seeing her. Hoping to see VT later in the week. Won't be seeing mother for a few days. We had a falling out last night,so despite her being in the wrong I will have to be punished with a maternal silence.
Off to chat on the phone now.
    Night all

Still 1.34 in t's today but prices on msm chage today and although they dont use them, i think they do:p

I think they don't, but t.com changes the day before and the APG gets from there, as does msm.

One other thing, which in fact I have considered reporting to Trading Standards before now, is how t.com/T changes prices online when offers are merely being continued for another week (or more). Then the price on t.com, which was at half price the day before, goes - invariably on a Sunday - to full price in order to claim an offer price which appears to start "tomorrow" (i.e. the Monday), even though the price apparently remains at half price instore and continues at that price the following day. It has annoyed me in the past, in fact, by how often it has happened - or used to - and, one day, I will crack and report them to Trading Standards. It's a continued offer, not a half price starting tomorrow, grrr:mad: - which, then, invariably to me, from my POV, the way I see it, seems to me to suggest that the offer is more limited than is in fact the case such as by having a start date of tomorrow and then an expiry in a week's time, suggesting it's only on for a week when in fact it seems, it's been on (and is still on) instore for much longer - and, as far as I'm aware, the price actually charged, whether instore or online (since deliveries will be tomorrow when it's (what the website suggests has gone down but to me is merely in fact) still half price) is never the full price for the one day. That has caught us out on the APG before as the price goes to full price T on there for a day or two, until t.com updates. I think it's the way their system, t.com, works in order to 'roll' over an offer. If that's the case, then I think the way their (T's) system generally works is unlawful. But that's just my opinion:rotfl:.

That said, maybe it should not have been, I did make an unrelated enquiry to them recently and they did respond, very quickly and helpfully, with some information. They actually provided me with the pricing history of a product, which showed they had charged a higher price for some time when msm suggested they had not. So, the msm price graph it seems to me is wrong. Anyway, I was satisfied with T's information, me working on everyone's behalf maybe:rotfl:, and felt it didn't raise any issues to report to the TSD.

I do occasionally get annoyed at some of the prices in M (for example claims of everyday low prices on items at their highest price yet and which have just gone up in price) and, one day, they may send me over the edge too:rotfl::rotfl:. Woe betide them if they catch me on a bad day, as I may just crack and go straight to TSD without passing go:rotfl:. Or, alternatively, they may just have me laughing at the ridiculous statement they are (from my POV) claiming.

But another emotional rollercoaster then:rotfl:. Sometimes they just annoy you a little and sometimes they make you laugh.

Naebarric - your garden is stunning. Mine is the worst it has ever looked. No good reductions on plants in tesco or dobbies this year so resisted.

All the talk of building houses, my dad built our house in Scotland took him 3 1/2 years and we lived on site in a very basic caravan. Things i'll never forget:

The first winter in the caravan was particularly bad, the water pump cracked in two because the temp dropped below -

A hammer thrown in frustration at the car windscreen :rotfl::rotfl: I was the cause of that happening.
    j

Bet it was HC that threw the hammer. Please say hi to him.
