I had just pulled into a space and a lady pulled up next to me. She opened her car door and clashed it into my passenger side door. I was just checking my phone so wasn't looking up and it made such a bang that I jumped out of my skin.
I got out of the car to find my door badly scratched and dented:o
She then she denied it was her:eek:
I asked her to open her door carefully towards mine and it matched the scratch exactly. But she was having none of it. "There's nothing there she said" and toddled off into A. I sat fuming in the car until she came back.
I told her that I had taken her number and would contact my insurance company (I'm not but wasn't going to tell her that)
" Do what you want" she said. She went on to say that hers was always getting knocked in car parks and anyway she used to work in a supermarket and nobody's to blame for any accidents in supermarket car parks:wall::wall:
You couldn't make it up:o
You know that feeling when the penny drops and you realise that you aren't going to get anywhere with someone:o
I only wanted an apology
It left me in a bad mood for hours:o
Morning all.
TM my daughter had similar thing happen to her' sitting in her car girl across the road reversed into her and drove away, That night she denied it all, then accused my dh of cutting her up a hour before!!
That would have been 7 o'clock in the morning, my dh doesn't know there two of them in a day :rotfl:
So dd went to police, they said straight forward insurance job.
Contacted insurance, picked her car up mended it, including the key scratch that appeared and her across the road said " I haven't done that, wanna check me keys" stupid girl. Got curtesy car while hers was being fixed, even got tank full of petrol, never paid a penny.0 -
Morning All,
I've been in Germany for a week so missed the good glitches.
Please can anyone answer this?
Whilst away I had eVouchers from sharpies that were expiring so got my better half to collect a non-glitchy shop. I thought I would check the APG and the order says cancelled even though it wasn't, she collected a few minutes after the timeslot so perhaps that was the reason, has this happened to anyone else?
I'm thinking of doing another sharpy shop today but don't want to get another cancelled order and lose the APG.
Thanks,

Got the cheese from Lidl, dated 5th August. Also quite big bags of spinach for 69p.
Cheese was flying out and that was at 8.00 am.0 -
What to do if there's no loo roll!!
My friend told me her mum taught her the 'drip drip shake shake' method at an early age, just in case of such situations :rotfl:
No loo roll:eek:
And your tissues are in your handbag which is hanging on the back of the door:eek:

Up early & just wasting time to see if my eBay buyer pays so I can post their parcel.... long wait until 12.30 when PO closes...
or just go out & do stuff I want to do & post it on Monday, if they have paid by then?

Good morning.
A quick question if I may. I took up the 50% off final value fees offer on 3bay - if I revise the item (reducing down to 7 days from 30 as there are so many items listed I think people just go for those ending soonest first when the price is similar?), then do I switch to default fees or does the offer stick? I know cancelling and relisting wouldn't keep the offer.
Most frustrating, the offer said it applied on up to 100 items then capped me at 10 for the month!
Many thanks
Anon
I think you can only change the listing length of time within the first few hours of listingOur Family Motto ~If all else fails - read the instructions...

Apologies for toilet talk:o
Sorry can't help anon and happy dad.
Just remembered that we are off somewhere today where there's a Pizza Express.
So using up some of the clubcard vouchers to buy our food.
I've researched it to within an inch of its life.
Food should come to £36.40 and I've just ordered £36 in vouchers:rotfl:
£2.50 in clubcard vouchers equals £10 but you can buy in increments of 50p
