Good morning all, glorious sunshine here, a good line full of washing out :D

Seeing the mention of prosecco on here, reminds me of a question on Mrs Brown last night, "she" asked a guest if she was looking forward to a cup of tea and the guest said yes, Mrs Brown asked the guest what kind of tea, the answer? Prosecco :rotfl::rotfl: Best answer ever lol

Anyway, happy Easter everyone, may you be blessed with many happy memories.

Happy easter to all, sadly of to work in a bit so had everyone down yesterday.
Hope the rest of you enjoy the day. ( said very grudgingly )

Its miserable to have to work especially as its a day for families - do you get days in lieu

Oh is on call for 3 days over Easter although he is not normally called out but even if we go to local shops he takes his work bag in readiness.
He does get 3 days in lieu which is something but work is so full on then its doubtful if he will ever take them off ..

A hospital appointment Mrsmac......on Easter Sunday.....that's the NHS for you:T:T:T

I'm planning a lovely Sunday roast with plum crumble and custard.
We are taking DS to the station afterwards and may not see him again until November:o I've just had a good blubber to get it out of my system and I'm now facing the day with a happy smile.....well trying to:rotfl::rotfl:

I will follow my own advice and accept I've done a reasonable job as a parent. I tipped him out of the nest to fly and that he did:) I will keep busy and enjoy his adventures long distance in the belief that it's what he really wants to do:)
Failing that I will just eat chocolate and drink prosecco:rotfl:

Hugs, thats an awful long time but at least you do have a date to cling to..
The first time that offspring go away for any length of time it breaks your heart. Our 3 have been coming and going for so long now but the first time they went properly is etched in my memory ...

Ok so am I kidding, even when Eldest son comes back for the odd night a couple of weekends a month the week after is so quiet and miserable its almost as bad as the first time ...

We have had so many partings and meetings on the train station each time I go (which is several times a month) I get little flashbacks ...

    Happy Easter

    Its pouring :(

I have a hospital appointment at 9.30 so need to get a wriggle on

This will be followed by more shopping :) and another cleanout of the freezers Dh just rummages and I can never find things Then a quick visit to see GC before tackling a larger than normal ironing

Sounds like a great day :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

It will just be the two of us for dinner so nothing special as still have a couple !!! of pounds to loose before the holidays

    Enjoy whatever you do

a hospital appointment - well I suppose they run hospitals 7 days a week so it makes sense, it feels bad though for the staff ..
Better though than endless waits for appointments ...
