As you know I'm one cheeky !!!!!!, which apparently can be misinterpreted as that thing they call 'flirting'. I'm generally and genuinely oblivious to such things as I have zero interest in dating right now. So anyway, this guy - who is 25 years older than me, asks me out for a coffee. I assumed he asked everyone and said 'sure if everyone else is going why not'.
Considering I'm first to jump to innuendos, I didn't clock what he was really asking. My colleagues then taunted me for the rest of the day (and rightly so!). So I've been dodging him for the last few days. This morning he asked for my number and for some reason, I'll never understand why, I kind of shouted out 'No, I'm not interested, we're just friends'. He looked hurt, said 'well I have enough friends already' and ignored me for the rest of the day. I'm going to blame the 17 day stint and tiredness for that one. At least I won't see him for a few weeks. I felt like I was back at school :rotfl:

Not your fault at all, he should have known better at his age.

You can't say anything worse than I've heard today. He's a very sweet guy, just not for me. At least I've had a chuckle at work today, even if it was at my expense. :rotfl:'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -

I bet DM would love an all inclusive at yours
On that note, I'm off to bed. I bet I wake up early now that I don't have to.
Hope everyone's ok and if you need a hug, jump in :grouphug:'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -

Bless, be flattered that he fancied you as he obviously thought you are lovely, move on, and just try to be civil to him, he is probably more embarrassed than you.
Edited as it sounded really harsh!“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
