Good evening Elite :hello:
Another lovely sunny day, just the sort of day to lollop about, as Mr AJ says  so I took myself off into the garden to lollop about with feet elevated
Super day yesterday with grandchildren hence my need to lollop today. Cinema tomorrow to see Beauty and The Beast at the local cinema. One of my granddaughters wants to see it with grandma
I'm a few pages behind but I imagine you all have the answer about the rabbit, elephants etc. Can I say none, zero, zilch
Hugs to the Elite poorly and those low in spirit, you're all in my thoughts today xx
Off to finish catch up and find out the answerThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -

My mum has been diagnosed with both osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis has anyone got any tips that can help, as she is in a lot of pain and doctors have told her she can only have paracetamol.
Drs are talking nonsense there.0 -

I just want to apologize to anyone who I have offended earlier or who thinks my attitudes stinks.
All three of mine have done the mindless, low grade minimum pay jobs – eldest child started at 15 working in a hotel restaurant and then went on to work in pubs, hotels and bars throughout uni and beyond, eldest son worked in a butchers mopping blood off floors before he went into the army and Errant son started at 16 working as a pot scrubber in a hotel kitchen for 6 years while he went through college and uni – so they have all done their fair share of slave labour mindless exhausting jobs.
But thankfully they all went on to do exams, their college courses and degrees, to get good enough jobs and promotion so that they don’t ever have to go back to that stage again – even Errant son will be working in his chosen career before long with a dollop of my daily and constant nagging .
My dad worked for the council cleaning out drains until the work affected his back and he had to retire in his 50s. My mum cleaned – she cleaned stations, hospitals, people’s homes … They came across to the UK in the late 1940s and early 1950s with the minimum of education and had no choices. Home life was miserable, we had no luxuries, nothing much of anything and we were hungry and I expect it was a hand to mouth existence.
I was doing shop work myself at 14 while I was at school.
This is why I made sure my 3 got their education and grew up with a strong work ethic and they worked at whatever jobs they could find whilst at college and uni.
Flip..... I have not read back, but I have seen you post anything horrid. Don't worry, relax we love you just the way you are x100 -
Was that on a first claim or had you done a few already?
Was it part of a batch of receipts all dated/timed similarly but claimed on different accounts?
I've just uploaded my first claim. I have a few more to do...
No I've done about 4 all with different names and email addresses. Mainly bought one at a time and paid with cash sometimes.
You mean you haven t done any yet .0 -
Either 3 (the 3 types of animal are rabbits/monkeys/parrots)
Or none/can't say (because "Animals" is capitalised it is asking how many of them are named "Animal")
I hate to have to say but I believe aau is correct!:eek:Serendipitious wrote: »Night-time raiders have stolen more than 150 items, including 12 tea-towels, from a Tesco supermarket.
They took two 43" televisions, 29 electric toothbrushes, 22 tubes of toothpaste, 10 DVDs and a beard grooming kit.
Their haul also included 66 packs of razor blades, five cans of hairspray and some back pain relief patches.
The theft happened at 04:30 BST on Wednesday at the Billingham store which is closed between midnight and 06:00.
It is believed two men wearing dark tracksuits with the hoods up were responsible, Cleveland Police said.
It is not known whether either of them had beards.

No worries and fair play to you and your family
A lot of youngsters see jobs like McDonald's, fruit picking or cleaning for example as beneath them and this is what gets my goat, beggars can't be choosers and I've done a fair few carp jobs back in the day to keep food on the table including temping as a bin man in the days when you had to collect from a metal bin from someones back yard and drag it out to the lorry long before wheelie bins!
Hard graft for sh1te pay but I'd do it again if I had to..."He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

mhoc, from the age of 14 (actually my 14th birthday) I was working Sundays in a garden shop, hard work but loved it, really loved sitting on a bale of straw bagging it up, but a lot of carrying bags of spuds etc, then from the age of 16 I was also working two evenings and Saturdays at Waitrose. As from the age of 14 I had to buy everything apart from food myself.
It was hard, but I soon learned to save for what I wanted, and I think it probably did me good to actually have to get out there and work for what I wanted.
So, I have no problem with people in drudge jobs. At the end of the day someone has to do them and the people doing them may or may not enjoy them, but those jobs generally make life easier for other people.
You know more than a lot of people what it takes to get on, and you have done all you can to ensure your kids do, so you have nothing to apologise for. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
