I'm back. Shed's painted and patio is half washed. It will get a proper wash when I finally get an outside tap - couldn't get the hose to go know the tap properly, so will get OH to struggle with it as a reminder.

very impressed, a really good amount of work done in one morning - I've not got very far - half way through checking the start of the month bills and family finances with Sophie cat prancing about the desk in a suggestive manner and OH says he wants to do the Aldi shop today ...

Thanks seren for your review on the razors....I must admit that it never seems to matter whether there are 3 blades or five on a razor...after a few goes they get blunt!

Cjj...lovely to see you here during the day....understand that you might be here because you are unwell and hope you get better soon...but it is lovely to see you whilst you recuperate x

I need to shop this afternoon....DS has only been back since saturday evening and seems to have spent equal time eating and sleeping....I feel a little like mhoc with the need to keep filling the fridge and the washing machine seems to have only just finishing washing literally everything he bought back with him

at least once the washing done it will stay done for a day or 2 but I've been checking the fridge and freezer and cupboards, very mother hubbard and if we don't do the big shop we will have a visit from social services for child cruelty :rotfl:

Errant son is trying to spread himself and his belongings around the house again so that needs to be stopped. Even the drawers I emptied in the sideboard and stationary shelving he is filling up again  I ventured into the boys room this morning ... not a pretty sight ...

There's one good reason why I managed to get a fair bit done this morning. I do not have to deal with everything you have to deal with:eek::eek:

Yes you will. But remember it has to be one of your last three orders to be able to claim.

Thank you, Pacifica. I am keeping an eye on that one! And thanks for clarifying that it is 28 days after you collect the shopping.

I've got them for £40 spends - totally unlikely so I am taking them to my local friend as she will make more use of them - and my random act of kindness for the day :D

I think they must originate from the MOC shops we did a few months back with soup and hipp MOCS where I was almost making it to £30 before coupons (or just a few pounds after the brand match kicked in :D )

unlikely for me to spend that much in one shop every again unless there are more MOCS - just off to do the Aldi big shop and even with a trolley load we wont hit £30

I took a look at my local Lidl the other day - it's had a re-vamp and is very nice, also has customer loos now (untested :rotfl:)

Bought beautiful ham for around 1.50, and a basic quiche for around 1.20, both excellent, as was the growing salad and veg, and the fresh meat looked high quality. Must go there again.

There's a new Aldi being built too, on one of my regular routes, must keep an eye out for special opening deals when the time comes.

Busy weekend for me. Spent Saturday and most of Sunday emptying the kitchen ready for it to be taken out. As the storage people have not given me any boxes yet its all stacked on the kitchen table although I bought 2 plastic boxes with lids for the food. I did have a bit of a throw out mostly old herbs and spices. Also threw away a lot of mismatched crockery.
Did some more tidying in the bedrooms and filled 4 bin bags with all the clearing. I could buy some more plastic boxes and pack some more but already spent about £50.00 on boxes for the kitchen and all my paperwork and loath to spend more as they probably wont reimburse me.
Only 1 week till I can move into the house and much as I have enjoyed the hotel I wont be sorry to move again. But no rooms in hotel this weekend so will have to move somewhere else for the weekend.
Just had a call from storage company who have the go ahead so house will be emptied in next couple of days.
Slept terribly so have a massive headache this morning!! Weather fine here but cold.

No surprised you have an headache , try and have a rest x

I am very sorry but I think Sharpies are on the way out...

Watfd store showing out of stock. DB can't get them to load to his basket at all, even adding previous order. I have just managed to order some by adding previous order to basket. Anyone else having problems please?

Think it was SSM that had this problem a few weeks ago
