Has anyone got any ideas on what has happened to my iPad - its completely died on me ! The battery was down to 40% this morning so I put it on charge while I wasn't using it but now it won't do anything at all, just a black dead screen. Its only ever done this before when the charge was almost empty and then it came to life again after putting it on charge.

I am technically incapable... but I would put it on charge overnight and see if that works x

Make sure you have closed all apps down incase one is draining the power, you haven't just downloaded the polkermon app have you?

This happened to mine:( I put it on charge....still nothing. I had to hold the home key and the power off button at the same time until the apple icon appeared. It then powered up but wouldn't do anything. I had to factory restart it in the end.....hope this doesn't happen to yours.
