Just seen this on the side bar update from MSE

    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/nsandi-investment-bond?

new Investment Bond from Government savings provider NS&I will pay savers 2.2% for three years from April 2017 maximum £3,000 saving

Ok, with this atom thingy you can invest more but I think I would rather stick to something I know.

Might be of use if you have a regular savings account reaching its anniversary or you are dithering about your ISA which might only be paying 0.5% of something equally silly.

In theory you might be able to use it like a monthly saver and just keep adding to it until you get to the max .

It will be interesting to see if any of the ISA providers have a response to this - Yorkshire building society said they had a new ISA appearing but its only a month to the end of the tax year now.

Dentist - got appointment in two weeks to remove broken tooth then week after to take mould for partial denture, which will be ready for me the week after that

    No to catch up :D

Quicker than me! I had a tooth out in December and only starting next stage in a couple of weeks.

Teeth either side are too weak to support a bridge unfortunately.

2017- the year of the dentist/

Hi All, hope you are all well. Sorry for being so quiet, just nothing to add, but still lurking :p

Would like to say thank you for the T meal deal. My store had the cheese with the display today so I picked one up and paid £18.60, trotted off to CS who tried to put through a different dessert so I could pay again - eejits! They offered me the difference back but I "thought" T policy was DTD. Tried to tell me I had picked the wrong thing with the cheese as it shouldn't be included. I pointed to the sticker flashing is as dessert and hey presto, £17.20 refund, so thank you to the OP. They took the remaining cheese off the shelf before I could go round again :D
