FSunshinemummy wrote: »WOW !!!Only in London !!! Walked to the Tesco petrol station to get a few munchies. When I walked up I noticed two coppers watching a woman smoking a cigarette, while filling up. I saw her & thought "what an idiot....with the coppers right there too". I went in & got my snacks. As I was paying I heard someone screaming. I looked outside & the woman's arm was on fire!!! She was swinging her arm & running around going ballistic!! I rushed outside to help & the coppers had put her on the ground & we're putting the fire out with their coffee's!!! Then, they put handcuffs on her & threw her in the police car. I was thinking "she shouldn't have been smoking & pumping petrol!" But being the nosey person that I am, I asked them what they were arresting her for? The coppers looked me dead in the eye & said "WAVING A FIREARM AROUND!"

Back from Sains:)
What a carry on...
Can you remember that I got a coupon for a £2.50 spend, with the promise of a further surprise once I'd spent it?
Well spend it I did.....the minute the SA scanned it, the till made a loud buzzing noise and then I was overtaken by events
The SA popped open her top to reveal a lilac diamond encrusted bustier, the manager jumped out of the photo booth and handed her a microphone. I'm unsure from where the brass band appeared, but as they struck up their first note, the SA jumped on her chair and started belting out "Dancing Queen".
Who appeared next I can't quite remember. It could have been the fire eater with the string of sausages around his neck or the bearded lady juggling her melons....it was all happening too fast.:rotfl:
Such a good time was had by all:T:T:T
Plus I got a coupon for 200 points with my next spend:T:TTo do is to be. Rousseau

Hello, I would like to hear some tips about travelling please.
I'm travelling to Japan around end of March with my OH and two kids and staying there for nearly 2 months. I'm considering using airport lounges since travelling with two young kids to Japan is trully gruelling! There's a transit at Seoul so I would like to grab some rest there.
I remember some of you got a Amex card quite a while back and it came with two lounge passes? I searched the thread but could not find all the info I needed so plucked up the courage to post here.:o
I see several kinds of Amex card I could go for... which one is recommended please?
I rarely fly (last time was 5 years ago!) so general tips for using airport/ travelling are welcome too. Thank you in advance.:)0
